My good friend Kristin is heading to Uganda this summer. Many of the kids in the orphanage she'll be staying at don't have beds, so she's raising money to buy them some. She's selling these super cute t-shirts for just $10 each and also stickers for just $2! Head over to the Facebook page and buy one! If you live in the seattle area and you're planning on buying one, let me know and she can ship me yours in my package. Then I'll get yours to you when the package comes. That way, they spend less on shipping and more money goes to the kids.
Just finished my new website today! I might still make a few changes. Not sure yet. But the website builder I made it with doesn't have a limit on the amount of pictures I can upload like the other one did. And it's still free! Take a look and let me know what you think!
Yesterday was my birthday, but everybody was busy, so we're celebrating tonight. Since I'm the only one who doesn't have anything going on, I made my cake this afternoon. I decided on a flourless nutella cake, since it sounded yummy and chocolate-y and also gluten-free for my dad. When we were in the DR and Haiti, some people on the team had a few coveted jars of nutella and it always reminds me of them now.
I also had a skype date with Anna, which was great. I haven't talked to her in forever and it was good to just chat for a while. I still miss her. Why I actually took a picture and not a screen shot, I don't know. But there you go.
Thai food, cake and presents with the family tonight! Should be fun and yummy!
1. Sunshine!! Is there really anything better? Especially in the winter. It's really the best. Plus, this whole week is supposed to be sunny. It's going to be glorious.
2. Jillian Michaels. As much as I hate her when she's yelling at me to 'finish strong' or whatever, it's always good when it's over with.
3. Interviews. Not because I particularly like interviews, but because it means I'm that much closer to finding a job. Today's was at Macy's. Not sure if it will work out. They told me full-time is 28 hours. We'll see.
4. Mean Girls 2. Didn't even know there was one until Kirsten and I saw it at the redbox the other day. So we're renting it tonight, even if she has homework, and then we're gonna laugh at all the cheesiness. Oh yes.
Also, I always feel like I spell February wrong. Don't even know why.
